GRAND is the key word here.  This space is unbelievable.  If you are looking for a high class…high style…amazingly unique space for your wedding…this is it!  I didn’t get many images of the inside of the space as it wasn’t set for a wedding and it is such a large space the images would not have done it justice…but it is simply fabulous.  See all those windows out front.  You those windows are viewed from the “lobby area”…but you can open up the ballroom wall to have this view for your entire reception area.  The view is breath taking…it over looks the KC sky line and the new performing arts center.  Really…it is stunning.  They have HUGE LED screens on the sides of each wall that will light up any color you like, creating an ambiance like no other.  This space is definitely GRAND in every way!

The state-of-the-art Grand Ballroom has a unique interior design that celebrates the city’s history with water. It has a 38-foot-high glass wall that offers dramatic views to the south of the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and features one of the most sophisticated lighting systems in the world.   The Grand Ballroom opens to an outdoor plaza at the southeast corner of the Convention Center complex.
Seating (Sections C & D): Recommended for 200-700 Guests.
