If we’ve learned anything this year, it’s that in the midst of a global pandemic, love will still prevail. While wedding season has been anything but ideal, we have had the opportunity to be a part of some very special moments with our couples this year. Like many of our brides and grooms, Kate and Michael had to postpone their 2020 wedding, but chose to still have a ceremony, right in their own backyard. It was one of the most beautiful and emotional wedding ceremonies we have had the privilege of capturing. Just the two of them, their rabbi, and their sweet pup Gracie came together to officially tie the knot while their family had a virtual front row seat on Zoom. The ceremony was followed by a champagne toast and a private dinner for two. There is no way to describe the immense amount of love that filled this day. We are so incredibly happy for Kate and Michael, and look forward to celebrating big time at their reception when this pandemic is behind us!

Lawrence Senior Photographer: Kansas Summer Senior Sessions

Lawrence Senior Photographer

Baldwin High School Senior 2020

It’s Monday, and it’s been quite a crazy couple of weeks. To spread a little sunshine and senior love this week, we’re sharing more from Trinity’s dreamy summer senior photo session! It felt like just yesterday that I had photographed her beautiful older sister, and I had no doubt that Trinity’s senior pictures would be just as stunning! Sunshine and lush greens made for the most perfect shoot. The best part of it all was finishing out the session listening to Trinity strum her guitar as the sun set over the fields.

So, for all of you 2021 seniors and engaged couples anxiously awaiting your summer photos, we hope the warmth and happiness of this shoot will give you some joyful inspiration!

Downtown Kansas City Engagement | Kansas City Engagement Photographers

Downtown Kansas City Engagement

Kansas City Engagement Photographers

Just two weeks ago, this beautiful girl was in Miami cheering on the sidelines at the Super Bowl, and THIS weekend she’s getting married!! Between Chiefs Cheer and wedding planning, she’s been quite busy this past year! Meggie and Colby share a love of football, but especially after this season, it’s probably safe to say that her love of her hometown Kansas City Chiefs outweighs his love for his OU Sooners!

Meggie and Colby are getting married in the heart of downtown KC at The Grand Hall, and we wanted to show their love for the city in their photos. These two amazingly kind and patient souls woke up extra early to meet for a sunrise session over the city, only to be greeted with a sky full of clouds. While we didn’t have a beautiful sunrise, we still captured the city at it’s best as it came to light that morning!

We absolutely canNOT wait to spend the day downtown with these two tomorrow!
