First up, we’d like to introduce you to two lovely ladies, Cindy and Jennifer from Barn Door Events!
We are Barn Door Events, wedding designers and coordinators extraordinaire. We are a mother daughter team from right here in Bonner Springs, Kansas. We love helping couples create the vision they have for their wedding.
CINDY ~ My inspiration comes from brides and grooms that are excited about their wedding day. I love the challenge of taking their inspiration and finding a way to create it within their budget.
Jennifer ~ For me inspiration is everywhere. Good music gets ideas flowing. Fashion has a way of showing you the newest trends and great colors. Graphic design blogs are always so unique and innovative. Our couples always surprise me. They come up with the most perfect ideas.

Together we like to help the couple incorporate into their wedding some of the past, maybe their family history. Using the present is a great way to tell a story about the couple, how they met, things they do together, and who they are as individuals. No wedding would be complete without the vision they have for their future.
As designers and coordinators we get to work with creative people everyday. Without photographers there wouldn’t be all those photos that inspire us. Florists can set the mood with bold colors or create a romantic feeling. Invitations are mini weddings in an envelope. When couples are starting their journey down the aisle a great place to look for inspiration is with your vendors.
Inspiration comes from all different kinds of experiences and places. Barn Door Events can help with every step in your journey down the aisle.
