Luxury Kansas City Wedding at the Kauffman Performing Arts Center

Brooke and Connor’s wedding day at the Kauffman Center in Kansas City was one for the books. I’ve had the honor of photographing a couple weddings for Connor’s family before, so showing up to this one felt like hanging out with old friends—and it made capturing their day that much more special.

From the very beginning, the vibe was so fun and easygoing. Brooke and Connor are the kind of couple who can’t stop laughing together (seriously, it’s impossible not to smile when you’re around them). And if Connor wasn’t laughing? He was probably crying. His reaction to seeing Brooke during their first look was everything—tears, smiles, the whole thing—and when they read their handwritten vows to each other, we were all crying right along with them.

The Kauffman Center was the perfect spot for this luxury Kansas City wedding. (Shoutout to Hannah with Weddings by Hannah for always flawlessly delivering the most epic wedding designs!) Every detail was so intentional and beautiful—the soft blues, the cheerful pops of yellow at the outdoor cocktail hour, and the way the golden hour light hit just before sunset. Guests were out on the terrace sipping cocktails, enjoying that perfect fall breeze, and it honestly felt like the city itself was celebrating.

And then… the party. Brooke and Connor didn’t just dance, they went all out. I’m talking taking crowd surfing, taking over the microphones on the band’s stage, and Brooke even took over the saxophone! What a truly epic night of celebrating!
