Wedding Week: Day 3

The Wedding Party

After meeting this bride and groom it was no surprise they’d have such a large wedding party. Ashley and Stephen both have such sweet and kind hearts, it only makes sense that they’d be surrounded by so many friends and family who love and support them. This group was a blast to work with! That’s one of the things we love about our job- we often feel like we are a part of the wedding party, just hanging out and having a good time with them. We went to the Nelson Atkins Museum to start our group shots, and then we made some time for a stop at the Granfalloon on Country Club Plaza for a few drinks before heading to the reception. I love their classic timeless look with all of the black and white, and that pop of red with the flowers.

Oh yeah… you are probably wondering who this guy is. He doesn’t match! While we were walking around the Nelson taking photos, Ashley and Stephen spotted a good friend of theirs who was there taking photos with another wedding party! They had hoped to have him included in their own wedding party, so it was a pleasant surprise running into him and getting a photo of the three of them together!
