The Ceremony
Ashley and Stephen had a beautiful ceremony at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park, Kansas. When we arrived at the church we were so excited to see one of our favorite florists there decorating the sanctuary! This probably isn’t the first time you’ve heard us rave about Audrey from Beyond the Bloom, and probably not the last time either! Seriously, any of you brides out there searching for flowers still… you must contact Audrey. She always amazes us with her gorgeous work! I mean, really, look at this bridal bouquet we caught laying in the pew of the sanctuary before the ceremony…
Ashley and Stephen waited to see each other until the ceremony. This always gets me excited about capturing the look on the groom’s face just as the doors open and his bride enters!
Such a lovely church!!
Ashley’s cousins served as the altar boys for the ceremony, and the last shot we got just after the first kiss with both of them saluting is so touching and so meaningful for these newly weds!
Love this send off!! Who doesn’t love a classic car? This GTO came all the way from St. Louis from a dear friend of the bride and groom!
