Lauren & Adam: Married!

Talk about a day full of emotion… this was it! We knew we would love every minute of Lauren and Adam’s wedding day! They are one of the happiest, most playful couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Although, there may have been just as many tears (the good kind, of course!) as there were laughs throughout the day.

The day began at Lauren’s parents’ home with a professional chef that Lauren’s dad brought in to make breakfast for all the girls! Now that’s how you start a wedding day!

Lauren had a beautiful Stephen Yearick gown from Bridal Extraordinaire!First Looks with brides and their fathers are the best! Lauren’s dad had a priceless reaction when he walked in and saw his beautiful daughter as a bride. What we weren’t expecting on top of this already sweet moment, was an even more priceless reaction when Lauren’s mom entered the room. Lauren’s father hadn’t seen his wife all dressed up and ready for the wedding just yet as he had been hanging with the gentlemen all morning. When she walked in, amidst his tears from seeing his daughter for the first time, he just let out a gasp as he saw how beautiful his wife looked. It was one of the sweetest moments we’ve ever captured!!As Adam waited at the front of the sanctuary for Lauren to enter the ceremony and walk down the aisle, his fun goofy side was still there, but quickly turned to some sweet tears as he saw his bride!
Love the floral arrangements by Beco Flowers!!Why end the ceremony just with a kiss? LOVE that Lauren and Adam threw their handshake in there as well! On the way to the reception, we stopped by Shawnee Mission Park for some gorgeous fall wedding portraits!
This elegant reception was held at the Ritz Charles in Overland Park, Kansas. Christine from Cake Studio 209 worked her magic again and created the most beautiful wedding cake!!
