How many people? The Alton Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated event.
Caterers? Pachamama’s provides exclusive catering services for Ballroom events. We feature a wide variety of menus, including hors d’oeuvres, plated, and buffet options. All of our menus reflect our high standards for quality and creativity.
Liquor? The Alton Ballroom is equipped with a full custom stone bar, and our Catering Beverage Menu offers an affordable selection of beer, wine, and liquor available for purchase.
Tables and Chairs? Our in-house items include: tables, chairs, silverware, glassware, and dishware.
Linens? Decor? Linens (white or black) are included in the room rental, and custom colors can be ordered for an additional fee. While Pachamama’s does not provide additional table decorations, we are happy to provide local vendor references for your convenience.
What is the most unique wedding you have seen in your space? Naturally, with our close proximity to the University of Kansas, I have encountered a few KU-themed wedding receptions. One wedding in particular featured a KU football helmet groom’s cake, and an a capella men’s singing group, who performed the alma mater, along with a few other songs. The room was all decked out in red and yellow, and looked amazing!

Built with a refined and minimal approach in mind, the Ballroom also showcases unique urban and contemporary architectural elements. Original exposed brick and black steel beams give the room an industrial feel, while rich leather banquette seating, polished wood floors, and deep rouge drapery, help to create a familiar comfort.
